Many people arrive feeling nervous. They look up, climb onto the platform and think, “I don’t know if I can do this.”

Then they jump. There is a shout, a laugh or an “Oh wow, this is incredible!”. Then comes the first trick, later the first catch, and the whole class applauds.

You fly. We all celebrate.

Our story

An experience too special to remain inside the circus world.

The story of Fly Art Madrid begins with Olivier Manzano, an experienced French trapeze artist, who brought the flying trapeze to Madrid. Olivier was one of the key pillars behind the creation of the school, together with a team of trapeze artists and people closely connected to the discipline, united by one idea: to make flying trapeze an activity open to everyone.

From that group of people who began flying, training and dreaming together came the conviction that this experience had to reach more people. That is how Fly Art Madrid began to take shape: a place to discover the feeling of flying, challenge yourself and become part of a community.

In many other countries, flying trapeze is a recreational activity enjoyed by thousands of people. In Spain, many people still do not know that you can fly too, even if you are not part of the circus world.

Sharing the magic of flying.

Your first time

You don’t need to be a circus artist.

We start from the beginning. We teach you the positions close to the ground and guide you through every step before you climb onto the platform.

You arrive

You meet the team, warm up and ask any questions you have.

You learn

We practise the tricks close to the ground first.

You climb

We fit your safety belt and accompany you up to the platform.

You fly

You take the leap. And discover why everyone wants to do it again.

As this is an outdoor activity, classes are subject to weather conditions. A minimum of 5 students is required for a class to take place.

Fly Art Madrid is currently led by Cristina Blázquez, together with a team of instructors and assistants who share a passion for flying trapeze and for supporting every person from their very first leap.

Our outdoor project grows thanks to our collaboration with Circo Diverso and the institutional support of Tres Cantos City Council, which has provided the space and granted the necessary permission to install the flying trapeze rig.
